Disciplining ourselves to work out can be a challenge, but it's a crucial part of maintaining our overall health. To keep myself motivated and moving, I turn to some of my favorite YouTube creators: Move with Nicole and Yoga with Adriene. These channels offer a range of exercises that keep me engaged and energized.

Movement is essential for our bodies, influencing both internal and external systems. Externally, we need movement to tone and strengthen our muscles. Internally, movement helps keep our systems functioning smoothly, preventing stagnation and circulation issues that can cause various health issues, including skin problems.

Our lymphatic system, for instance, relies on movement to flow properly. Unlike our circulatory system, the lymphatic system doesn't have a pump and needs our help to keep things moving. Walking, yoga, massage, and swimming are all excellent ways to support this system. When our lymphatic system is functioning well, it helps reduce bloating, acne, swelling, and sluggishness.

It's important to remember that being strong is more beneficial than simply being skinny. Strength comes from consistent movement and exercise, which contribute to a healthy, functioning body.
